It rained on our parade. :(

So sad!  This would have been our third year walking in the Decatur Pied Piper Parade, however, summer thunderstorms had other ideas. 

Uncle Buzz came over and we decorated Finn’s bike, Riley’s trike, Kellen’s stroller and Uncle Buzz’s bike!

Then we headed on over to the starting point…..the sky was dark….there was thunder….but it had been thundering the past couple of afternoons and not a drop of rain.  But then Mr. Jeff showed up with his fancy phone and was all “look at my weather app that says the sky is going to fall on us”.  So we waited under the awning while Todd and Buzz went to get some cheeseburgers.  And right after they got back, the sky started to fall on us and everyone else who was standing out in the open field came running in and we all huddled together while the sky fell upon us and lightening crashed down what had to be only a block away!  CRAZY storm!

Eventually the rain let up, but the parade was cancelled.  And Finn was PISSED.
