2nd Annual Lakes Family Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt

You may remember our scavenger hunt in Pigeon Forge last year.  We had so much FUN with it, we decided to do another one this year, in Nashville, Indiana!  We went with the same teams as last year, but with the addition of two family members…..

Teams
Team 1: Heather, John, Finn, Joseph and Grandma
Team 2: Holli, Riley, Steph, Todd, Papa and Kellen

We could do the items on the list in any order, we had to take a picture at each task and we had to have at least one of us in each photo and we had to have at least one group photo. The first one to call the other team when all items were completed wins!  Last year Team 1 won!  This year, Team 2 got their revenge!

An ornament with the name of someone on your team

We couldn’t find any name ornaments in the first store we went to, so I took a picture with the “Best Mom” ornament.  :)

But later we found another store with a John ornament (and a l’il angel and grandma).

Biker Woman Over the Age of 65

and this is where our team lost….we never found one.  :(  and it is questionable as to whether this woman is over age 65 but they got closer than we did and insulted another woman in the process.

When we were done we all met up at Santa and got a group picture!

Thanksgiving 2011

I’m pretty sure when grandma and papa built their house in the woods, this past holiday was exactly what they had in mind.  Lots of grandkids running around, lots of campfires, walks, naps, food, cuddling and FUN!

Now for some videos!

Riley!  You can hear Steph in the background at the end telling him to say “go ball, go!” and that was exactly what he did every other time that he bowled, he would stand at the end shaking his arm yelling “go ball go!”.  Riley had a freaking blast bowling!  He loved bowling, he loved the music, he was super excited!

Finn did really awesome, he even got a strike without the ball hitting the bumpers!

and a crazy throw!

The Aunt Steph butt wiggle!
