Family Photos 2012!!!

Our photo session was a bit of a train wreck.  The boys just were not in the mood to cooperate, it was stressful and not all that FUN.  :(  However, I was completely amazed at how GREAT the pictures are!!!

 

    

I debated for a while about whether we should have the boys bring their favorite things for pictures.  I am SO SO SO glad that I did!  I absolutely LOVE these pictures of them with Grandma Bear, Blankie and Opposites Book!

  

And these I used for our Christmas Card!!!  Snow in the ATL!  ;)

A Day In The Life….

This cracks me up!  Back pack, check.  Cheese stick, check. Rocking horse, check.

 

Tradition!

 

We spent a good long while creating our houses with the city backdrop.  It was an amazingly peaceful build with me, Riley AND Kellen!

And our Letter of the Week Wall is coming along nicely!  I absolutely love this project!  Riley was really loving it at first and now he seems to waiver on it depending on his mood.  Mostly he really likes it though.

Alligator, Banana, Caterpillar, Dragon, Egg, Fire, Grass, Hearts, Ice Cream, Jumping Jelly Beans (trampoline included per Finn’s request), Kite, Leaf, Pumpkin (seeds) and Turkey.  (we skipped ahead for the P & T to be topical to the season)

 

Finn has started playing basketball (EEEP!) and got a new basketball.  He thought that this should be Riley’s costume for Halloween next year.

Thanksgiving 2012

Grandma was on the drive with us to Indiana, which was fabulous because Todd was working the entire time so it was great to have the extra hands to help with the boys!  Although I turned back around at one point and found this:

It seems Grandma fell asleep on the job!  ;)  LOL!!!

And then before we get back in the car after lunch, I’m chasing Riley around in the grass and I turn around and find this:

This is how we arrived in Indiana!  hahahahahahaha

Steph brought these awesome binoculars for the kids, so we went on a hike with them!

And baths!

Going around the table during Thanksgiving lunch, asking what everyone is thankful for and Riley says “I’m thankful for you momma, no, no, actually, I’m thankful for Myyyyyyyyself!”  This was just a day or so after another incident where Riley proclaimed he wanted to be in charge of himself.  I wasn’t there and don’t know the exact story but it went something like “well I want to be in charge of myyyyself!”.  LOL!
