Day 25: Christmas Day!
So much FUN! Things were a little chaotic and the grown-ups were a little unsure as to what to do. Every time the kids would open a present they wanted to play with it immediately. So we were torn between just letting them play or making them move on to the next gift. We totally just wanted to let them play but they could have played with one toy for an entire day. So we did a little bit of a mix. We opened some, played, had breakfast, then went back to opening and continued on for the entire morning. It was so much FUN!
Yay! Santa came!!!!!
Opening stockings!
Riley is totally into opening presents now and he somehow managed to pick up on the word presents and shout it profusely for the weeks leading up to Christmas!
Sleds (and some serious cheese!)!
Scooters! The boys both got scooters but we only opened Riley’s up in the house because his was a little less “dangerous”. At one point they were both riding on it being so sweet, but by the time we got our camera, Finn pushed Riley off, did a quick turn around and scooted away leaving Riley in hysterics!
Later we cleared out the garage so they could ride them for a bit.
And somehow we got to this point???
And momma got a panini maker! squee!!!
And the doggies got some treats too from Elf Riley!
And lastly we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus!
