The Sunday before Finn’s birthday we were eating lunch at Doc Chey’s in the highlands when I mentioned something about it being birthday week and Todd said “well we totally have to go to Alon’s for a birthday week treat”….that man LOVES Alon’s! I mean, I do too, but he has such a sweet spot for that place. So we walked over and let the boys choose what they wanted. You know, in the name of birthday week! :)
Birthday week also allowed Finn the privilege of choosing what shows to watch and what activities to do (all to an extent of course). We also went bowling and took a trolley tour that week. And I had had a friend pick up some of these awesome storm trooper and star wars plates for me which I brought out during birthday week!
He got to have a playdate with one of his best buddies all by himself and got to stay out late to go to dinner with him!
The night before his birthday while laying in bed reading stories we took a bunch of “selfies”.
And then he woke up and was SIX!
We started the day by reading “On The Day You Were Born” a book we picked up from Finn’s pre-k teacher.
Waffle House for breakfast!
Chuck E Cheese for lunch!
And Maggie joined us!!!
Ravioli Lasagna for dinner!
And cake of course!

Nerf guns….

Not A Stick, because we loved Not A Box SOOOO much!

Where’s Riley? Oh no worries, he’s just over in that corner with a knife trying to open his gun…..
And then we instantly regretted the nerf guns.
All in all it was a really great week and we had alot of FUN and one very happy six year old boy!!!
