I love the way the boys both pronounce Valentine’s:
Finn: Valentime’s
Riley: Balentine’s
The cool thing about Valentine’s this year, is that Finn can sign his own name on his cards for his classmates and teachers!!!! Lesson Learned: start early! He had 24 to do and when we started them on Sunday, he would only do 5! gah! Thankfully that night I put together all of Riley’s and the ones Finn did finish and when he saw them all put together in the morning, he was super excited and quickly and easily finished!
Have a SUPER Valentine’s Day!
I “Heart Attacked” their doors! Finn LOVED this! He wanted to know what all the hearts said and he was beaming as I read them! I think it really made his day!
And I put out their little mailboxes with their Valentine’s cards inside for breakfast and made little heart shaped waffles (ok, so I cut a frozen waffle into a heart shape with a cookie cutter….)!
I put them all in red (snuck in some red under Finn’s school uniform!) and I attempted to get some pictures of the boys together!
And at dinner we opened presents! All the boys got some books (Henry & Mudge series, Elephant and Piggie series and “I Love You Stinky Face”). Finn got some chapstick and Riley got a new Braves hat. Yes, the inequity of the gifts was not lost on the 4 yr old. But he was VERY excited about his chapstick and he even shared one with Riley!
And I made heart-shaped pizzas!!!
Kellen digging his Valentine card!
Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
