Riley’s 3 Year Stats!!

My little Roo is 3 years old! It is amazing how much he has changed in the last year and how the changes have been almost unnoticeable. At some point in the year he learned how to put on his shoes by himself, how to take off his clothes by himself. He became a real jabber-box and will talk incessantly using all of these “big” words.  Everything is all or nothing with him.  With as much anger that he has about something, he has equal amounts of love.  When things are good, they are very very good.  And when they are bad, oh lawdy, hold on to your hat!  He loves to sing and dance, he loves music, his blankie, cars, school and TV time.  He still won’t touch a vegetable to save his life.  He is the best snuggler!  He loves his daddy, his brothers, his uncle Buzz and grandma and papa, and I like to think he loves me too!  ;)  And we love this little fireball known as Riley!

We had his 3 yr well visit on Monday to get him all checked out.  As we were about to walk out the door, he grabbed this crown and off we went!  He was SO excited for “Dr Nicki” to come in that he kept peaking around the corner looking for her and doing a bunch of tricks!  Silly goose!  At 3 years they do a vision screening…..which he would NOT cooperate for.  We even tried twice, once without me there and then once with.  He did not want to have anything to do with that “game”.  No shots at this visit though, yay!

          

 

Happy Birthday Riley!  You will always be my baby!

The week leading up to his birthday, every morning I would say “only 3 more days of 2 yr old Riley hugs” and I would say “I’m gonna miss 2 yr old Riley, but I can’t wait to meet 3 yr old Riley!”.

And time for the geeky stuff!  He gained 5lbs and grew ~2inches this year!
