Momma and her friends participated in a Muddy Buddy race. Momma and Aunt Tay Tay were a team, Christy and Brooke were a team and Sara and Christy were a team! The race was about 3.5 miles with 8 obstacles along the way including the giant mud pit as the finale, just in case you didn’t get dirty enough along the way! And waiting at the finish line were promises of beer gardens!
We may not all have been physically or mentally prepared, but we were dressed appropriately (thanks to my inability to participate in anything without a custom shirt)!

We all were covered in a ridiculous amount of bruises, but the worst injury I got was at the after party when a step stool jumped out of nowhere and attacked me. Ouch!
This was for real one of the most fun things I’ve done in a long time! Definitely making this an annual tradition!
And this is what happened to our children while the dads were in charge!
Yes, that is duct tape. Yes, they are in their underwear. But hey, I wasn’t in charge so I’m not complaining!
