The busiest and most exciting weekend ever!!!

The weekend of April 19th-21st was the busiest weekend in the history of ever!  Todd was leaving Friday morning to fly to Indiana to pack up his parents and move them to North Georgia Mountains!!!  (WOOOOHOOOO!!!!)  This was the most exciting part!  And the busy was everything else!

Finn had a half day on Friday and we also had 1st grade orientation (eeep!!!!).  Saturday we had a soccer game for Riley, a birthday party for one of Riley’s friends (that only Riley was invited to) Finn had golf and a t-ball game and we had a big BBQ at a friends house (4th Annual Lutz 420 Festival).  But of course everything was at conflicting times and with Todd out of town there was no way I could make it to all of those things on my own.

When they say it takes a village…they aren’t joking!  And on this particular weekend, I called in my village for reinforcement!  I had Uncle Buzz come and help with Finn and Kellen while I took Riley to his birthday party and then Aunt Tay Tay came in time for Uncle Buzz to take Finn to golf and she stayed while Kellen napped.  We ended up skipping t-ball and I took them all to the soccer game in the morning and to the BBQ in the afternoon.  It was exhausting coordinating it all, but an amazingly FUN day!

We also threw in a little birthday party for Aunt Tay Tay in there!

And we also squeezed in some time to make cards for Aunt Tay Tay and Papa!!  The boys are being super creative with their cards lately, these were amazing!  In order from top to bottom:  Finn, Kellen, Riley

Sunday morning I packed up the boys and we headed up north to check out grandma and papa’s new place!  Due to many snafu’s, they unfortunately were not moved in to their house and so we helped them out!

And because we just had to squeeze one more thing in, Finn had a school project due on Monday for transportation….so we built a wooden school bus together!
