We had gorgeous weather and had a perfect Easter weekend! Saturday we did our annual Easter Egg Hunt at East Lake Park! It wasn’t until we were at the hunt that I realized this was Kellen’s 1st egg hunt!!! Two years ago he was a newborn baby and last year we were in Florida that weekend and missed all egg hunts. He did awesome without any practice and it was so cute just watching him walk around with his little basket!
The weekend was jam packed with fabulous stuff! First we took Riley to his first soccer game, then we did the egg hunt, stayed and played on the playground for an hour and a half because our house was booked for showings and the boys were having a blast with all the other kids there, then we went to lunch on our most favorite patio, naps, golf for Finn, play at the playground then play and grill at home! Sunday we went to church and then we spent the afternoon with our good friends playing and enjoying a yummy Easter potluck dinner!
Finn grabbing some eggs!
We switched Riley out of his soccer uniform, but he wasn’t letting go of the socks and shin guards (which is stilly because those socks are HOT!!!) Riley stuck with a blue egg theme for his collection!
Look at his little face! He opened some of his eggs and didn’t like whatever it was he tasted!
And Kellen will only swing on big boy swings now! He even tries to pump and propel himself forward! Score for me! :)
Riley however regressed and wanted to ride in the baby swing. SMH.
And before we went to bed we set out our baskets and some carrots for the Easter Bunny!
Whoa! The Easter Bunny ROCKS! Lots of books, stamps, eggs filled with candy and money, new light up lightsaber toothbrushes, bubble bath, star wars figurines, underwear, a tie and Curious George videos (so now, no matter what time it is, we can watch him in our non-DVR home)!
The boys were very slow and meticulous about checking out their baskets, it was actually very cute and sweet and civilized!
These toothbrushes are the coolest things EVER!!! They light up for a minute while you brush and they are light sabers!!!
And baby Kellen finally woke up and the bigs helped him with his basket! He would NOT let go of his Curious George DVD though, no matter what else he found!

And Grandma and Papa sent some Easter goodies too!
And video of the boys opening presents from Grandma & Papa!
I managed to get this bowtie on Riley while he was watching TV, he had NO idea it was there until we got to church when someone commented on it and he immediately freaked out and ripped it off. But I got this adorable picture at home before all that happened! I really wish he liked this because it is so perfectly cute on him!!!
After church the boys were BEGGING to watch their Curious George videos, so I told them I would if they would put their ties back on and sit on the front porch for a picture….
Riley: I DON’T WANT TO BE HANDSOME!!!
Finn: Can we watch our video yet?
Kellen: I don’t know what is going on, but I love sitting with my brothers!
Riley’s school Easter party wasn’t until the Tuesday after Easter and I was able to talk him in to wearing a regular tie to school! Eeep!
