Soap Box Derby

Oh boy have we created some monsters!  We took the boys to the Red Bull Soap Box Derby and they thought it was the COOLEST.THING.EVER!!!!!!!!!  EVER.

And to be honest….it totally was!  I wish we could have stayed longer and watched more of it!  Races didn’t begin until 12:15.  We went early, at like 10 so we could walk through and check out all of the cars.  There were a lot of really cool cars!  Then we waited in line for a ridiculously long time to get some lunch so we could then watch the races, but by 12:45, everyone was hot, tired and cranky, but everyone also wanted to stay and watch more races.  Well, except maybe Kellen.  He was pretty much ready to go as he had no idea what was going on!

The race track from the middle up to the top and down to the bottom!  They even had ramps in the course for the cars to jump and either land and keep going or fall to pieces!
