Little Roo!

Our little Roo went pee pee on the potty tonight!!!  YAYAYAYAY!  We threw a party.  It was awesome!

We realized recently that Finn had started to show interest in the potty right before his second birthday when kids in his class at daycare were starting potty training.  And with Riley quickly approaching his second birthday we decided we should at least do what we did with Finn….put him on the potty every night before getting in the tub/shower.  Every now and then Riley would ask about the potty when he saw one of us on it but nothing ever happened. 

After a couple of nights of putting him on the potty and having him lose his ever loving mind, tonight all of a sudden he went potty!  He looked as shocked as I did, he looked down and said “potty???” and I tried to keep my cool and now start shouting in his face while he was still going.  But as soon as he was done, we threw a celebration.
