Happy/Crappy

Crappy:  We all got an AWFUL stomach virus recently.  It started with Riley, found him in his crib he had thrown up and he had diarrhea late Thursday night.  He didn’t throw up anymore but he continued to have diarrhea for a whole week.  He wouldn’t eat hardly anything at all, he was all cranky and he slept ALOT.  He would get up and play for like 10 minutes then lay down and start crying.  It was so pathetic.  Then Friday night Todd threw up.  Todd hasn’t thrown up in years.  and about an hour after Todd threw up, Finn woke up and had thrown up.  Todd went to go get him out of his room and Finn threw up on him again.  I know this is a super gross story but seriously I can only now laugh at the look on Todd’s face, who had just thrown up about an hour earlier and who is now getting thrown up on.  Diarrhea for both Todd and Finn.  And Saturday night I got hit with it.  Thankfully it only hit mommy and daddy and Finn for about 24 hours.  Riley really took the brunt of it, poor little dude.

“Didn’t you say this was a Happy Crappy post?  Where’s the happy????”

Happy:  Finn is completely potty trained now!!!!  With the exception of over night, but, he had more than his fair share of attempts at going poopy on the potty and can go completely on his own now!!!!  He doesn’t even tell us, he just gets up and goes (pee and poop)!!!  Yay!  So at least one good thing came out of this awful flu!!!!

I do now however need to replenish my poopy sticker supply!

Well here is his chart after the week we had (note, he didn’t get a poopy sticker every time he went seeing as some times were at 4am, but he did get plenty!)
