I know this blog is mostly about our adventures with the kids….but this post is all about Momma & Daddy!
In April, we will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! We had always said that at 5 years we wanted to take a big trip. Thankfully we were at a perfect place to be able to do just that! Last April we made the decision to go to Belize and booked our flights using skymiles. 9 months of anticipation later……
We spent 7 nights in the jungle (3 nights at Black Rock Lodge, 4 nights at Table Rock Lodge) and then 3 nights at the beach (Victoria House). All places were pure HEAVEN. We went on lots of adventures….But we also spent a LOT of time sitting and relaxing and listening to all the amazing jungle birds and then the ocean. we spoiled ourselves silly, even Todd, once we hit VH/the beach he napped like he has never napped in his life, spent a good portion of the time in a ROBE and laid around with no agenda and even cancelled the plans he originally had to run around from island to island. Talk about relaxing!
