House Update

So I’ve been unbelievably negligent on the blog updates lately, but I have a good excuse.

We’ve been getting our house ready to put on the market!  In the process we first had to clean out the basement and get it organized so we could then declutter the upstairs of the house to put down in the basement!  We had two different handymen come to the house to work on projects.  And we got the interior and exterior of the house painted which included us getting kicked out and moving in with uncle buzz for 5 days. 

This is the first day they came to pressure wash and scrape the exterior, the boys were going nuts!

But it felt good to hang this back up, even if it is only temporary!

And then came the deep clean.  ugh.  and a million other tiny projects that Super Grandma and Papa helped us with!!!

I had to completely clean out (aka EMPTY) this corner, MY corner, my desk/craft/office corner.

 

TODD needed to clean off our beautiful dresser and his corner….I wish I had taken a better before picture of the floor on his side of the bed.

The living room, sadly no before pictures, though I’m sure there are a thousand on the blog….where are the toys???  lol!

And then there was the walkway!

 

So now we are done, the house is officially on the market and we’ve already had a couple of showings and an open house scheduled for tomorrow.  It feels so good to finally be able to sit down on the damn couch, though there never really is time for that either!  LOL!  Ohhh, and there is the small matter of the fact that we have no place to move, so…..wish us luck, it is all in God’s hands now and we have faith that it will all work out!  We are accepting all prayers and good thoughts though!
