Riley’s 4 Year Old Stats!

This year was Riley’s GOLDEN Birthday!  He turned 4 on the 4th!!!  And boy did we celebrate!  We started with presents for him on Saturday’s breakfast, his birthday party, more presents on Monday, his actual birthday and then one last party at school on Tuesday! 

And with birthdays come doctor visits!  Riley was wearing this crown all morning, but then Kellen stole it from him!  LOL!  They took turns wearing it at the doctors office though.  Riley averted his vaccinations because turns out he had STREP!  At Finn’s 4 yr appt he had a double ear infection and we had no idea.  It’s like the 4 yr old curse!  Riley wasn’t cooperative for the strep test though and it was a bit of a PITA.  He was cooperative for the hearing test, but again for the second year, he would not cooperate for the vision screening.  I even bribed him with lunch at his favorite place with Uncle Buzz and he still would not cooperate.  Stubborn much?

 

I just went back to last year’s post to see what I had written about Riley and a few things stand out….I think it is so funny he wore that crown to the doctor last year too and I would have written the EXACT same thing about him this year that I did last year!  He is a chatter box, he will talk your ear off, and he mostly loves to talk while going poo in a public bathroom.  He is an amazing brother!  He always asks how his brothers slept and how their days were if they weren’t together.  He has become a bit of a liar.  He so easily throws out a lie without even batting an eye, even for no reason at all.  It is a little disconcerting.  And the same holds true from last year:  He loves to sing and dance, he loves music, his blankie, cars, school and TV time. He still won’t touch a vegetable to save his life. He is the best snuggler! He loves his daddy, his brothers, his uncle Buzz and grandma and papa, and I like to think he loves me too! ;) And we love this little fireball known as Riley!

He gained 5.5 lbs this year and grew FOUR inches!!!
