Riley Roo
We went to friends house today and they had Fox Bros BBQ, which Riley LOVES. He was having too much FUN playing, but we eventually got him to eat. LOVE that he sat down in this little chair and dug in. More love that he’s missing one shoe! This is just too cute!
This week I took Riley on a little one-on-one date to “the dinosaur museum”! We went to go play in the new “tree house” they have there and then as a special treat, I got tickets to see the Animalopolous playing in the IMAX theater! His first movie in a theater, beyond cute! He held on to his ticket the entire time! He LOVES tickets! One thing I didn’t get a picture of though, when he sat down in the folded seat, the seat folded up on him! So.freaking.funny!
Kellen is 1 Month Old!
I took Kellen in today for his 1 month well visit. After the nurse weighed and measured him, she marked everything on the growth chart to get his percentiles and when she did she said “well, if I did this right, then he is a very large baby!”. Ha! Yes, he is a Lakes baby! All 5’2” of me makes large babies! OK, maybe TODD has something to do with it…..
Age | Weight | % | Height | % | Head | % |
Birth | 8lbs 8oz | 21” | ||||
5 Days | 8lbs | 21” | ||||
1 Month | 11lbs 9.5oz | 90th | 22.875” | 95th | 15.25” | 90th |
Kellen’s belly button finally fell off (longest lasting and grossest belly button by far of the three boys!) and so he finally upgraded to the baby tub! He also got an awesome monster hooded towel like his big brothers. And after his bath, he had some serious Krazy Klown hair!
He loves story time!
He’s enjoying his playmat!
But daddy’s work is very boring!
And he went to his first neighborhood jazz concert!
So far, life is good!

Happy Easter!!!
Saturday morning we suited up and headed out to our annual neighborhood eater egg hunt! The weather was super blah, cool, foggy and misty and everything was soaked from an over night rain. But there were lots of kiddos and FUN!
Kellen in his Easter outfit, he LOVED it!
Eater basket in hand, he was ready to hunt some eggs.
Go Go Go Go Go!!!!!!!!!!!
Before going to bed, Finn and Riley put out a bowl of water and some carrots for the Easter Bunny! So cute!
The Easter baskets and a couple of half eaten carrots! Books, cars, plates and eggs filled with candy and money! Thank you Eater Bunny!
The boys digging into their loot!
Happy Easter!!!
