On the 26th Day of Christmas….

We went to see Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer at the Center for Puppetry Arts!  Last year was the first year we saw this and we just LOVED it!  Sadly due to our busy schedule we weren’t able to squeeze it in before Christmas, but it made for a perfect day after treat!

  

Unfortunately about 10 minutes in to the show, Kellen threw up all over me.  So him and I left the show to get ourselves cleaned up, which meant basically disrobing down to Kellen’s white onesie and me down to an undershirt and pants that I did my best to remove the puke from.  We spent the rest of the time in the car together where unfortunately he got sick again.  :(  Poor little guy was so sick and miserable that day.  Turns out it was just his stomach being upset from all the congestion that he had and nothing more.  But a bit of a bummer.  The bigs and daddy enjoyed the show though!

25 Days of Christmas: Christmas Day!!!

We had a great Christmas this year!  We are truly blessed!

I’m not quite sure why, but this was by far one of MY favorite presents, new little crocs for Kellen!  He has been OBSESSED with the bigs crocs and would always put them on and walk around so I figured he needed his own pair and they are just too cute!  Also, HE absolutely LOVES them!

Finn reading the names on the tags and handing out presents, this really warms my heart, I love that he is learning to read!

More legos!!!!  Kellen sat and played with his own box of legos for a long time!

these goggles crack me up, every now and then I will turn around and one of the boys will have them on and will be carrying on a perfectly normal conversation like there is nothing abnormal and it just cracks me up!

And then we moved outside for skateboards!

We were short two knee pads so each boy wore one, lol, and we didn’t have the wrist guards yet so we were trying to avoid hills of any kind.

We really don’t want Kellen on these things but it is impossible to stop so we were trying to get him to scoot on his bottom or belly…

 

And then this happened when Riley was trying to do some tricks…

It is almost two weeks later and he still has a bump on his head.  So then we moved on to scootering!!!

25 Days of Christmas: Days 19 thru 24

19. Cookie Decorating!

This is our 3rd year (I think) decorating cookies with the Becker family!  And this was by far our easiest year!  Davis however was missing from the festivities because he stuck a googly eye in his ear and was at the doctor trying to get it extracted.  :(  The boys decorated some cookies for him though!

 

20. The Minivan Express!

This was the second year we’ve done the minivan express, where the boys get tickets to ride and we drive around looking at Christmas lights!  This year their tickets were waiting for them at the dinner table and we took our ride after dinner and baths and rode around in our jammies!  I also downloaded some Gene Autry so we had some lovely Christmas tunes for the ride!

22. Kellen’s Christmas Tree Craft

There were so many Christmas crafts that we normally do that we didn’t this year, but Kellen did make this cute little Christmas tree for the window!

23. SNOW!!!

We went to Indiana to celebrate Christmas with the family and when we got there, there was a little bit of snow!!!  Enough for sledding!  More of that to come in another post, but here is a teaser!

 

24. Christmas Eve

We drove home on Christmas Eve so we could be home in time for Christmas.  Mac left us a good-bye note and some Magic Reindeer Food!

We sprinkled our reindeer food outside and left some in a bowl and some carrots!

 

And milk and cookies inside for Santa!
