So another mom I know, Sam's Mommy tagged me for a Meme....while I'm still not really sure what a Meme is, I'm going along with it! Basically, I think its an idea for us moms to come out from behind the blog and talk about ourselves just a little bit! So here are 6 random things some of you may or may not know about ME!
1) I have a Mousters Degree. That's right, I said Mousters. I was part of the Walt Disney World College Program, where I was an "intern" at Disney world down in Florida for the summer. Honestly, I worked as a seating hostess at King Stephen's Banquet Hall, that restaurant at the top of Cinderella's Castle....that was considered an internship! Best part...I dated Prince Charming! Easy on the eyes, not so charming.
2) I was the only one in the bar that cheered when Jo Pa was taken out.
3) I've given up all organized sports....but only after 6 years of post collegiate efforts and time spent before realizing that I am just not good at anything other than cheering on the team and post-game happy hours.
4) I chose Purdue University because I liked the pamphlets they sent me in the mail. Honest to God. Something about them just called to me. The rest is history.
5) I actually studied to become and worked as an Actuary. I'm a big math/stat nerd. Now the secret is out.
6) I am allergic to kiwi. nothing else, just kiwi. I had never had kiwi until I went to college, met my freshman roommate who was from Hawaii who introduced me to kiwi, that delicious nectar from the gods. I still didn't eat much kiwi until I graduated college and was grocery shopping for myself.....one day it hit me that the reason I was breaking out in full body rashes, my tongue was swelling up and it was getting harder to breathe was from kiwi. Even after I knew I was allergic I kept eating it, it was sooooo good, I just couldn't stop, until one day I had the worst reaction where I really couldn't breathe. Haven't had it since, but it calls to me. I miss you kiwi, I wish I had never met you.
And so for the tagees, the next six victims to tell us random things about themselves....Ashley Baber, EZ, Brittany Erwin, Mrs.W, JoJo, and Ridge's Mom. I cannot wait to see what they have to share! The rules are if you're tagged, post six random/weird things about yourself on your blog and tag six people. And leave them a comment on their blog letting them know that you've tagged them.

Deuce's Debut
Here's baby deuce, in all it's cuteness! We're not finding out the gender this time, just to leave a fun little surprise for the big birthday. We had our ultrasound a week ago and the baby looks great and is measuring two days ahead. Baby was sucking its thumb too which was super precious! I think it looks like me! ;)

Finn's new pet
Maybe it's just us, but Todd and I think this is hilarious.....daily, Finn will go into my bathroom, pull out my hair dryer and walk around with it dragging behind him like he's walking a dog or something and it cracks us up! We finally got it on video.....
Big boy chair!
So we've been talking about getting a chair for Finn lately for him to sit in because now that he's been sitting in chairs at dycare and it is just too cute we thought he should have his own seat at home (in our over sized large furniture house for extra tall daddy, and who am I kidding, not too long before Finn is 6 feet tall either!). And the rule is, when you buy something for the new baby you have to buy something for the older child too, right? LOL! So we bought a crib for "deuce" and then we bought mommy an ultra comfy upholstered glider and well we "had" to get something for Finn too! I think he loves it!

We have a molar!
Mr. Finn has been chewing on EVERYTHING lately and so I stuck in my fingers to inspect and...a molar! He got one more new bottom tooth last week too and now a molar, for a total of 9 teeth! Thank you to whoever bought us the stuffed moose we can put in the freezer for him to chew on, it is his favorite thing right now! Poor guy!

Maggie Play Date
Finn's future wife Maggie came over to go to the pool and have a playdate cookout. It is so much FUN to watch them play together now that they're both mobile and have so much personality! They had FUN splashing in the pool and Finn helped push Maggie around in his wagon, such a gentleman. He was however not happy when mommy picked up Maggie on her lap to read a book! Uh oh, we may be in trouble come January!

Baby Beluuuuga
We took Finn on his first trip to the Aquarium this past weekend! Uncle Reg was going to be diving in the Aquarium with the Whale Sharks so we joined along to watch the FUN! With as much as he loves water we thought for sure he would love it....he seemed to be more interested in the people and his stroller. But we got to see some Baby Beluga's and of course have people stare at us as we stood in front of the beluga tank singing our favorite Raffi song!

Boys day out
Well, daddy took Finn on his first super big hike this past weekend with uncle Buzz! They drove about an hour and a half north of Atlanta to Panther Creek to go hiking. Todd and I had stumbled upon Panther Creek probably 3 years ago and had yet to go back. Its a gorgeous trail that follows a creek leading up to a giant waterfall and swimming hole. Its an almost entirely shaded trail as well and with the water the temps stay nice and cool. You can also camp along the trail! The boys went up for the day and by the looks of it, had a good time!

Poop in the coupe
Well, I've told y'all before that Finn is obsessed with his Cozy Coupe. This morning he's in the car and he's leaning out the window, for quite a while actually, and I'm thinking how cute, he's being a cool guy. I walk out of the room and when I come back, I smell poop. Upon further inspection though, I realize....he has pooped out the side of his diaper and there is now a large pile of poop...in the coupe. So gross. Lesson learned....keep some pants of any kind in order to catch the poop.

Stridin' Rite
So, now that Finn is cruising around, it was time to put some shoes on him! Which, by the way he is sooooooo not a fan of! He has been barefoot for so long, and I think definitely enjoying it so putting shoes on him now, is, well, interesting. The good news is that he will actually sit down long enough for you to put them on him, but then when you go to stand him up he is confused about now putting his feet down on the ground with these new accessories. So he'll sit indian style in the air until you plop him on his butt, and then he'll proceed to try to pull them off of his feet, grunting included. And walking.....well that is a whole other story as well. We're just going to keep trying with them and hope that eventually he'll get used to them! Here's the best picture I've got of them so far. We got him the basic little white stride rite first shoe, they are adorable, and this weekend at the park he finally scuffed them up a bit so they're not so blindingly white!
