Shamrock N Roll 2013

I ran the Shamrock N Roll again this year and I ran it with Kathleen AND Aunt Tay Tay!!!  Such a FUN morning!  And we had decent weather for it too, which was nice!  I also shaved 1.5 minutes off my time from last year, AND I can claim that I beat Taylor in a 5K…technically anyway!

Afterwards we went to brunch to a place that let’s you BYOB, same place we went last year….except this year they wouldn’t let us uncork until 12:30, BOO!  So after brunch we went and sat on Kathleen’s awesome front porch and enjoyed our prosecco!

T-Ball!!!

Finn started T-Ball!!  He has wanted to play for so long and was SO excited to finally get started!  His team is the Washington Nationals (how FUN is that?!?!) and his first game was against the Cubs!  His team won and he was very excited to keep telling me about how his team beat MY team, lol!

The coach rotates the players around to all of the positions through out the game.  Finn did really awesome when he played in the pitcher position!  (Obviously not pitching, but in the position)  He got all 3 outs for the inning!

And in the end he got the game ball for getting 4 outs (3 as pitcher and 1 in the outfield)!  His first game ever!  And his buddy Alec got the other game ball!!

And Kellen FINALLY got to go out on the field, not for a lack of trying the entire game!

 

Super Grandma Turns 65!!!

March 9th the most amazing, wonderful, fun, caring, LOVING and special woman, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother turned 65 and we showered her with LOVE!!!

I figured since I don’t ever get to do a girly party, I would go with FUN, bright, springy girly colors!  Side note:  our house was still being painted so Uncle buzz was kind enough to host at his house!

Mountain Climbers!

Finn and Riley climbed all the way to the top of Stone Mountain for the first time!  And Kellen climbed about 2/3 of the way up all by himself, and almost without stopping, he was kind of unstoppable, it was pretty amazing!

So the thing that kept Kellen running up to the top….PUDDLES!  They were everywhere along the way up, but the top of the mountain had the best ones!!!
