Officially Sitting!!!

Sunday we went on our playdate with the three other boys, Torren who is 10 months old, Hayes who is 7 months old and James who is just a few days older than Kellen.  Kellen was the only one who couldn’t really sit up unassisted yet.  Monday he was sitting up a bit more and now today, bam, sitting up like he’s been doing it his whole life!  Amazing!

Our Weekend

Friday night was Momma’s Night Out, so Todd invited the other dad’s over for a cook-out.  They were greatly outnumbered, but everyone was alive when we got home!  And Todd took a few pics, proof that everyone was well fed!

Saturday was Game Day and I remembered to bring out the Purdue gear for the boys!  Finn refused to wear his Purdue shirt because he didn’t want to take off his pajamas, which he wore for the rest of the day, but Riley and Kellen were much more agreeable!

A huge, loud motorcycle was driving by, how hysterical are their faces?  I love little James’ hand on little Hayes arm as if to say “Yo, Hayes, did you seeee that?!?!”.

Good Bye Thirsty Thursday’s

In actuality we said good bye to Thirsty Thursday’s a loooong time ago….but tonight we were double booked with PTA meeting and soccer practice.  Todd took Riley with him to the PTA meeting and I took Kellen and Finn to soccer practice.  I won out big time on that deal!  I sat in the shade in the grass with the baby on a blanket chattering with other parents while the team ran around practicing.  All the while Todd was trying to keep a 2.5 year old contained while trying to listen to the “State of the School” address at the PTA meeting.

Our beautiful apples!  I apologize to them now for my lack of cooking abilities.  I will try to turn you into a pie that will probably taste like dirt.
