We celebrated Fat Tuesday at the beach! I took down some craft supplies with us because in the past we’ve not had the best beach weather AND so we could make these awesome Mardi Gras masks! We also packed up the harmonica and egg shakers and Papa had his bongo!
And then we had our own parade!!!
The boys spent ALOT of time building forts and force-fields on the beach and digging holes to China!
And Videos!!!
And Pajama Sand Volleyball!

And we played Fox and the Geese and had foot races (of which I so badly wish we had videos of)!
And we collected LOTS of seashells, which both boys took to school with them to show their classmates!

We had an AMAZING trip to the beach! We had perfect weather and were able to swim in the ocean, and the pool. Our days looked like this: breakfast, beach, TV time, pool, lunch, naps, beach, pool, dinner, bed. Everyone took HUGE naps and went to bed easily every night, completely worn out from the day! It was bliss!
The drive down was easy, the boys were wonderful. And as soon as we got there, the boys hit the beach with grandma and papa while momma and daddy unpacked the car.

and then dipped Kellen’s toes in the ocean!
And then we let Kellen down to explore on his own! I put together this slideshow with pictures AND videos!
